I was excited getting ready for our first outdoor movie night. I set up the screen, projector, fire table, and chairs in preparation for the night
It was a little chilly on our first night of movies. However, we had the fire table going and our favorite beverages ready to enjoy our night. Our first night features Looney Tunes cartoons and Star Wars: A New Hope (the original movie).
I was wondering if anyone would show up in part due to the cold night, and also because this was the first time we were having a movie night. As I finished watching the cartoons and started the movie, we heard the driveway gate opening. It was our neighbor, Kathy, who was kind enough to drop by and give us a bottle of wine. She said she wanted to come, but was recovering from a cold. She also mentioned that other neighbors wanted to come, but they were away for the weekend. We were excited to hear that there was interest in the neighborhood. Kathy even mentioned going to the website.
This first night was a good way to test out everything and prepare for the next movie night. As the warm weather sets in, we look forward to other movie nights in the months to come. BTW – the next movie will be Saturday, May 23rd. The starting time will be 8:00 PM.
